Teacher Workshops
To introduce secondary school teachers to the Cool School Challenge and how it can be implemented at your school, a series of workshops are being offered in Western Washington. The workshops include an overview of the program and how it can be used to educate students about practical climate solutions and effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions at your school.
Continuing education units (CEUs) will be provided, and Puget Sound Energy is offering a $100 stipend for attending the workshop. An additional $200 honorarium will be awarded to teachers who then implement the Challenge at their schools, submit their results and provide feedback. This workshop will help you understand everything you need to know to make the Challenge at your school a big success!
